When it comes to food, Ingrid’s passion has always revolved around entertaining others with her excitement for cooking great food and knowledge of great wine. She comes from a long line of “Southern” women who were always in the kitchen whipping up something. Her grandparents were in the restaurant business for over 30 years, which had a huge influence on her love for cooking. Growing up in Los Angeles, she enjoyed cooking for friends and family and expressing her love through the kitchen. As an athlete, she developed a strong interest in health and nutrition that eventually brought her to become certified as a nutritional health and wellness coach. Although she cooks many traditional comfort dishes, as a health coach she was inspired to show people that healthy and delicious foods can be synonymous, and began re-inventing those foods that we all grew up with but preparing them with a healthy twist while still maintaining delicious taste. Because of her passion for food and service, she decided to jump both feet into the kitchen and began acting as a personal chef to her friends and clients. Her biggest reward is the smiles on the faces of the people she cooks for. Her goal is to bring her love of food and people together, to create something memorable.
